Brad Pitt is one actor who always seems to choose amazing roles. Practically every movie he is in does well, both with critics and audiences alike. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the majority of his films tend to do well at the box office and are usually in the discussion come awards season.
There is no doubt that Brad Pitt has starred in more than five incredible movies, but this article will list my five
favorites.
One movie that I certainly need to mention is Seven. This movie is as good as detective thrillers get. Pitt stars as a young detective working alongside an experienced veteran (played by Morgan Freeman), chasing after a mastermind serial killer. Not a film for the faint of heart.
Another great film that stars Brad Pitt is the Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford. Pitt plays the part of Jesse James, while Casey Affleck does an incredible job as the coward Robert Ford.
If you have yet to see Seven Years In Tibet, you are missing out big time. This is one of Brad Pitt's earlier films, however it remains one of my favorites to this day. This movie is based on the incredible true story of an Austrian mountain climber who befriends the Dalai Lama during the takeover of Tibet by China.
Another awesome movie starring Brad Pitt was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This movie received mixed reviews from audiences, but I loved it. Brad Pitt was very much deserving of the Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role which he received.
One other film that I feel the need to mention is Inglorious Basterds. This is right up there with Pulp Fiction as my favorite Quentin Tarantino film. Everything about this movie is awesome and it is surely like no other World War II movie before it.
As it stands, this is my Brad Pitt film list, but I have no doubts that there will be others to consider in the next few years. The man only chooses the best of roles.
